I was anxious and depressed — the modern-life variety, easy to normalize and hard to shake. Talk therapy helped me understand what was happening. But understanding it and actually changing it turned out to be two different things.
What finally shifted things wasn't more talking. It was learning to slow down and listen to the signals I'd been overriding for years. When I did, I noticed a lot, including a gender that fit a lot better than the one I'd been performing.
I'm queer, trans, and neurodivergent, and that's part of my story. But the heart of what I do isn't about any particular identity. It's about the skills that made all of this possible: learning to notice, to trust, and to act on what you find inside yourself.
That's what I teach as a sex and embodiment coach. The same awareness that helps you recognize when you're overwhelmed or say no when you mean no — that's the same thing that opens up intimacy, pleasure, and real connection. These are learnable skills. And they tend to change more than you expect.
